BELARUS visas take 2-6 working days to issue in the embassy (depending on the service selected) & are valid for 3 months (stay of 30 days) from the date of issue.
Only those who are resident in the UK can apply at the embassy in London

Send the application along with any additional documents mentioned on the form. It is best to post it using a secure service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery or another courier company.
What To Include In Your Application

Letter of invitation in Russian (original) from a company or organization in Belarus, which is registered as a legal entity by the Belarusian authorities. A scanned or faxed copy of the invitation can be submitted to the Embassy if agreed upon with the Consul. The invitation should be printed on the official letterhead with a registration number, date of issue, the full name of the company, its location and telephone number, bear the signature of the official and a corporate seal, indicate the expected duration of the applicant's stay in Belarus & state the inviting party’s written guarantees that the invitee will abide by the rules
and regulations applied to foreign citizens in the Republic of Belarus

information:

Must be valid for the period of your staying in the Republic of Belarus
Minimum limit of responsibility of the medical insurance is 10 000 Euro.

a health insurance certificate is enough ). There is no need to send the entire booklet of your insurance. You must have the
original of your medical insurance policy during your staying in Belarus.

From 12/02/2017, visa-free entry through the border checkpoint at the Minsk National Airport and visa-free stay in Belarus for up to 5 days (4 nights 5 days) (also leaving Belarus via the Minsk National Airport), for the following citizens;
Australia, Albania, Andorra, Antiga & Barbuda, Argentina, Austria, Barbados, Bahrain, Belgium, Bosnia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominica, El Salvadore, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Oman, Panama, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, St Vincents and the Grenadines, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA, Uraguay, Vanuatu & Vatican City.
The 5 day visa free rule also applies to the following nationals providing they hold a valid multiple entry Schengen visa only:
China, Gambia, Haiti, Honduras, India, Macao, Namibia, Samoa & Vietnam
All visitors are required to have adequate health insurance. If your stay exceeds the visa free allowance decribed above, you will need a visa before you travel.
Belarus transit visas last for 2 days and are required by all except those as noted above.
Although there are no compulsory immunisations in place, it is advised that travellers making 3 or more visits per year, stays of more than 3 months in a rural area, high-risk occupational groups & backpackers staying more than 1 month have up to date immunisations for Diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, TB, tetanus, tick-borne encephalitis & typhoid.
